In Response To: Re: "Lone Wolf." *HUGE SPOILERS!* (ManKitten) : Except, in the opening scene of Halo 1, doesn't the PoA have to "crash : land" on Halo because it isn't rated for atmosphere? Except, now...it : just left atmosphere, soooo....what's the deal. Is it rated for atmosphere : or not. I thought the entire ship was built in space and had never even : been in a gravity environment. I could've sworn I made a post about this last night but now I can't find it. Check the Flood, Pg 40. I don't have time to write out the full quote, but it says in plain english that the Autumn was too heavy for a planetary atmosphere. It was built in the Reyes-Mclees orbital shipyards of Mars (Halo 1 manual I think, maybe FoR) and was never supposed to have operated within an atmosphere. It only appeared there in Reach for nostalgia-trimmed cameo. I don't see why they couldn't have just had a cutscene with Keys's pelican meeting it in orbit.
