Definitely the best Halo campaign since Halo 1, and even then I'm torn as to whether I enjoyed this more than Halo 1's. Compared to, say, Halo 3, I knew what was going on at all times, genuinely cared about the characters and felt their loss as each was taken away, and really enjoyed all the cool story elements like Halsey and Keyes being thrown into the mix.

So yeah, in my eyes Bungie really exceeded all my expectations and provided us with an amazing game. I was really skeptical going into the campaign, since what I had seen of the campaign just reminded me of Halo 3's craptastic story mode, but Bungie really surprised me. Maybe you went in expecting too much?
