In Response To: Get To Know Your HBO: Top 10 360 Edition! (GrimBrother One) Not more typical list I suppose, but it's tough to filter your favorite from the last five years vs the last month when halos not involved, but I'll try: 1. Mass Effect 2
The last two are more of a rotating chair from the last few months, but both of those are really good and oddly nostalgic for both being essentially new and untouched franchises. Mass Effect 2 is drop dead amazing and really makes you feel like this is your own star wars or star trek adventure. Brutal Legend is one of those form over function deals. Gameplay is easy and not overly complicated, or exciting, but being a huge Jack Black, tenacious D, metal, and overall music fan, it is truly worth a playthrough. Also the soundtrack is just oodles of epic. Assassins Creed 2 is much like the first, but to a lesser extent and has more to offer. Burnout is burnout, fun arcade style driving. Arkham Asylum is a lot like the first Assassins Creed, you know it looks good and should be fun, but you are simply unprepared for what it is about to do to your life. for the next week/ 2weeks/ lifetime you wiull play nothing but this game, and think about nothing but this game. It takes over your life, but in a good way. Ditto to Assassins Creed, also.... Aliens and Mind Control WTF! Red Dead is really a good game, the only faullt I can find is if you don't like the setting of the Old West, it becomes a little annoying. but that's not the game's fault. GTA 4 is beautifully long and drawn out to give you much "free time" to do as you wish. that's where GTA has always really excelled. Transformers is for Transformers fans, other than that its a simple third person shooter..... where you can transform into shit! and Scott Pilgrim is really..... REALLY nostalgic, funny, and quirky. It's well worth $10 on xbla
