Normal human light levels are overly bright to the Elites. {TCP:p189} Why then is Sanghelios not a darker-looking world? Some architecture can be similar. Perhaps walls and a ceiling or even multiple stories is supposedly common. Then again, it depends on what tools of construction would be developed by creatures whose hands have two opposable thumbs and two fingers. Perhaps they build with metal only. perhaps they craft things in only one seamless part with some fusion of materials. I would cringe if anyone in the Covenant put together structures with nails and screws for instance. Similar is OK. Outright identification of an Earth culture attributed to an alien culture is not, IMO.
