In Response To: Steven Spielberg to Produce Halo Movie? (PsychoRaven) Steven of today? Eeeh... Indiana Jones 4, War of the Worlds, Minority Report, AI, you have to go back 10 years for his Director Seat to start making consistently great movies. I haven't seen Munich, and I have heard good things, but that was the exception to the post 1999 rule. If he's a producer, so long as he has a VERY strong co-producer, that's fine. Obviously there's nothing set in stone that he will direct or produce or write or anything, but his involvement is still really iffy for me. If Steven can pull another Jurassic Park or Last Crusade or Empire of the Sun out of his hat, then fantastic, the Halo movie will get the treatment it deserves. I really don't want the Halo franchise to be tarnished by a Transfromers 2-esque treatment.
