In Response To: Re: The Begining of ODST with the chief *VID* (Stephen L. (SoundEffect)) : It's definitely land-locked in Halo 2. There's the New Mombasa Transit : Authority map in the Terminal MP map and even more telling is the : miniature of New Mombasa created for the cutscenes that was also used in : the Halo 2 opening menu screen. You pass nicely around the tether and can : see all the buildings around it. if you look at the title screen however, you see that the tether is not in the part of mew mombasa we were in, and is across a river from it. also, in the ODST video, it looks like it's not just the tether by itself.
