In Response To: Re: The Begining of ODST with the chief *VID* (MasterNoob) : after looking at this, the space tether doesn't look too different. the : island is larger that concept art says, and it looks kinda like a island : in the halo 2 scenes. It's definitely land-locked in Halo 2. There's the New Mombasa Transit Authority map in the Terminal MP map and even more telling is the miniature of New Mombasa created for the cutscenes that was also used in the Halo 2 opening menu screen. You pass nicely around the tether and can see all the buildings around it.
