In Response To: IGN "Gears vs. Halo" (Metalingus627)

After reading it, I have a couple things to say.
1. They gave Gears the advantage in story? Are you fucking kidding me? The Halo universe is so deep we get books spanning decades out of them. Plus, Joe and Frankie are much better then anyone at Epic in terms of story writing.
2. They forget to mention that had their not been a Halo:Combat Evolved, It is more than likely that there would be no 360, and therefore no GOW. Halo served as a basis for GOW to be constructed.
3. Halo's cover system is called "crouch".
4. Forge and 4 player co-op dwarf anything Epic has done with GOW2, with the exception of Horde. Meta-Scoring and skulls finally get the respect they deserve.
5. The guys we love so much play a key factor in the communitty thing. Epic has a message board, and we have HBO, B.net stories and blog posts, the B.net forums and stat tracking. Plus, I love more of you guys then I do Gearheads.
(But not in that way.)
