In Response To: Halo - a look back over seven years (Louis Wu) : http://halo.bungie.org/news.html?item=24503 : Give us what you got! Its been 7 years! Holy cow. Wow my first Halo experience was when I was 12. I was good friends with a hockey teammate and one day he invited me over to hang out. At one point he suggested we play a game called "Halo". And I though "What is this some sort of religious game?" Right away without even trying to figure out the controls we went into a furious game of Beaver Creek-Slayer-Plasma pistols. I was immediately hooked. Me and him lanned almost every weekend. At one point we had a 20 player Lan that lasted 19 hours straight. When Halo 2 came out I was introduced to the world of Xbox live. Every day after football practice I was in front of the TV. I even saved the stats from my very first game. CTF - Waterworks - 4th place
When I went to college I picked up my beloved Halo 3. After a few days of gaming me and my roommate were having weekly Xbox live nights, yelling and screaming at the TV every night. Well one of those nights a girl from the floor below had over heard our yelling and entered the room to see what the heck was going on. We hit it off and played Halo for hours. After some time she became my Fiancee : ). To this day Halo brings my life together. I found my two best friends thanks to Halo, and the love of my life. I cant thank Louis Wu enough. For 6 years a day hasn't gone by that I'm not on this site keeping track of the latest news and macinema. I thank you from the bottom of my heart man.
