In Response To: Day One pictures! Assembly! (56K warning!) (madmax) My journey started in Jacksonville, FL and has taken me to Vancouver, BC, to Seattle. I spent over a day flying, waiting for connections, flying some more, then driving across the border into Canada to stay with Devin and Goatrope. Needless to say the journey that took over 24hrs should have only taken 9. My first stop was to pick up Goatrope, then head to Devin's place. We show up to Devin's place, and what does he do, he makes us unload a UHaul. Let me tell you, that was really fun at 11pm in the rain. But I really didn't care, just being 5000 miles away, hanging with Devin and Goatrope for a week, was going to be incredible, and we all knew it. Devin had to work the next day like a big fat gay. So Goat and I went to Stanley Park :3

Goat was pretty sure I wasn't going to jump out to the rock, yeah well, get wrecked Goatrope.
3am Starcraft on Devin's 50 inch tv, sure, why not.
Goat sure is a big fat casual. After a few days in Vancouver, we started our drive to Max's place in Seattle Thursday night. We get invited to a party , Max is there, so we need to stop by to touch base, etc. The party was pretty crazy, but no less then 10 minutes of the 3 of us stepping into the house, a dudes shoulder gets completely destroyed. Guys+beer+girls around = not a good time. We had about 35 doctors in the house.
We get the key to Max's place, and head back so we can relax after a long drive. We can thank TomTom for this one. Infact, we can thank TomTom for many great moments on our journey. I am sure many more are on there way. he are just some pics at Max's place.

Our journey started here, at the parking garage. Goatrope parked in this same exact parking spot last year, we followed suit.
The line system to buy or pick up tickets was a complete joke. I am not even going to bother going into detail on this.
The hall awaits us.
Oh hey look at that, the first thing you see when you walk into the hall is Gow 2. We stood and watched for a good 30 minutes. Many more pics coming later, as well as videos.
For those of us who know Goatrope, we know that he loves only one thing in life, and that one thing is Starcraft. We knew Blizzard had a booth at PAX, but Goatrope was pretty sure SC2 was going to be a no show. We are branching off from the main aisle into the convention, then all of a sudden, Goat is gone, we look up, it's SC2. I knew that describing it was going to be near impossible, so here is a brief video.
Nooooooo! I am too late, DAMNIT! Not really, they should have some mediums size shirts of the 7th Column tomorrow.

Pretty casual of me. I am getting so much shit at the moment from Devin and Goat. They might be dead by the time this is posted.

We were talking at the Bungie booth, just taking it easy after somewhat short, but really long day, and who do we see. The man himself, Louis Wu. All joking aside, it was a great honor to finally meet him. It has been 7 years, and the wait was well worth it. Wu is absolutely amazing in person(and in here obviously). Devin and I are still shocked that he we met him. This is only day 1.
