I only stressed it on the front page because many people were looking at Apache's notes on VoodooExtreme and extrapolating ("he played for 4 days, probably a total of 30 hours") or from some print review (if it said it took 5 hours to get through the first 4 levels, they were worried that they'd be done in 12). If it took 60 hours (on the hardest setting, mind) for the guy who wrote a good chunk of the AI, AFTER that guy had spent a few months playing the game... well, 12 hours seemed unlikely. :) : also, nobody (and I mean *nobody*) will finish the game in any reasonable
