In Response To: don't stop to breathe (butcher) : for an epic battle (or if we're playing co-op) I pick Legendary. it took me : about 60 hours of continuous play to finish the game on this difficulty, ... I wasn't trying to offer any commentary on how long the game is. everyone will play through at their own pace, that figure is just talking about (hours I spent at work over that time period) * (percentage of time spent playing single-player halo). plus I'm probably better at exploiting the AI than you guys, heh. I would not be surprised to see people's time to complete on legendary be off by a factor of two in either direction, most likely higher. also, nobody (and I mean *nobody*) will finish the game in any reasonable period of time if they start playing for the first time on legendary. it's not possible to learn those skills while getting whaled on. so this won't reflect how long it takes you to play through the game the first time. :) - butcher
