I'm afraid not. The narrator or the story itself is the one doing the referring, but YOU are the one playing. Therefore, you are playing from an "I" perspective or a "We" perspective. So you read "The light of the torches flickers as you pass by them" and think "Ahh, the light of the torches flickers as I/We walk past them."
