In that game third person was nessasary. But in a game like Halo where mutliplayer is going to be big thirsd person would suck. yes yes I know the point of view that is used when driving. The third person perspective is also used to hide lack of detail. i also can't get imersed into a game where I stare at my players back the whole time. I'm sorry if this doesn't really make much sense I had a long day to day.
