I don't doubt that it's not difficult to transfer videos from the dvds to the pc, but the whole process just adds extra steps that aren't necessary with a capture card. Like I said, the capture card is more flexible. I'm definitely getting a capture card in July. I've already got a few machinima shorts written up and ready to shoot. Should be fun.
