In Response To: Re: Despite the release of new maps CoD 4 stays on (Warp2) : You are correct. HOWEVER, using unofficial stats from Infinity Ward and the : bungie.net website, there are also more matchmaking games of COD4 played : every day. And it's not even close. Just live with it...COD4 has more : players. That doesn't mean we can't play and enjoy Halo 3. Oh, I agree. I think it's clear that more people are playing COD4 more than Halo 3. I was just pointing out that seeing lots of people on your Friends List playing Halo 3 is not directly reflected in this particular statistic. At the end of the day, COD4 has sold more copies, had more unique users on Live, and (apparently) more matchmaking games than H3. Now, I'm sure there are various ways to spin or question these comparisons (How long are COD4 games? I have no idea. Do the matchmaking stats include H3 customs? Beats me. What about split-screen guests, as Wu points out? etc.), but it's abundantly clear that COD4 is really popular and good and so is H3. I'm perfectly happy with that.
