I agree. But I at least hope the post you responded to was a joke.
There's this thing called a "metaphor", whereby someone can say something literal, but mean something else. I think a lot of people have trouble with that. Like when someone from Bungie says "Master Chief IS the Security Officer", that's a metaphor. That doesn't mean they're the same person, it means they fulfill the same spot in the literature. The lone hero, guided by AIs, and so on.

Also: Today's date is 11-01-07. Annnnddd (randomly making crap up):
11/1=(1+1)+1 = 3!
07 = 7!
11-1-7= 3!
Clearly, Bungie is releasing new DLC today because today's date is so auspicious. Tinfoil hats, anyone?
