I'm just back from exploring the room for myself. It appears to be identical to the main skull room in Cortana, right down to the hallways on either side and the area underneath the glass floor, with its pseudo-terminal (that place in the selfsame level where you can hear Cortana say, "It was the coin's fault..."). The only difference in geometry that I could see is the lack of Flood flesh, which reveals the room to be perfectly symmetrical. All surfaces seem solid. If by some unholy fusion of science and magic someone could fine a way to explore this place in the actual Campaign, I would be interested to find out if the pseudo-terminal can be activated there.

It's a long shot, I know. On the bright side, this discovery might lead to some theater wonkiness in other levels. Time to experiment.
