In Response To: Re: Second WETA movie. (Ross Mills) Well I can't say I enjoyed it, Brutes were okay, stood there like statues and were too easily gunned down by a bunch of ODSTs... And considering what's in the books that bothers me because if that's how the Halo Movie is going to be -running around and easily killing everything in sight Neil didn't seem to put much effort. Acting... So and so, wasn't great, dialogue wasn't believeable, guy get's shot and his partner says "Suck it up" or something along those lines... What the hell? Maybe that's not Neil's fault by the screenplay writer better do some better dialogue. The warthog was done by the chassis was done wrong... Each wheel is one its own dependent section but anywho doesn't matter. The Banshees was a good effect, and the spiker rounds hitting the wall and then cooling was interesting. But that was about it. Don't get me wrong the guy has talent, he has some interesting short films but do I think he has the ability to do a full fledged Halo Movie... Nope. If he is going to be directing, through most of his shorts there is little dialogue (-a plus for him) and then you have the action scenes which isn't done that well to begin with. I don't know, maybe its because I want the movie to be perfect or I just want James Cameron directing the movie XD. Hopefully the following shorts are helluva lot better because this one wasn't impressive to say the least -even with the HD. Until then I can't see what Peter Jackson sees in this guy that is worth making him director- plus in all cases before the announcement, he was basically a nobody. *Prepares Flame Shield*
