Maybe tachyons is a possibility as a byproduct of the plasma being accelerated. Collisions between particles could create the tachyons. Another way to look at it is that the plasma is the fuel used to produce the tachyons. This is why I state the wild speculation that there is a fifth state of matter, basically matter that is highly accelerated to a point that it creates a bubble in time, e.g. a tachyon field. There still is the problem with this medium for containment that delivers the weapon. : Or: Perhaps the plasma is an uncollapsed probability wave and the medium is : an insulator from collapsing effects (such as observation and/or : interraction with absolutely anything at all). The question is, how do : they fit the cat into each charge? hmmm... I would have to think about this more. Seems to be the same thing to me as above, just worded differently.
