Well, I don't think its that Bungie wants to exclude the Mac users. I'm sure they'd be able to pull one such transition off on their own with the developers they have now. Or maybe they want programmers familiar with the x86 Architechture so that they can translate the game over to the Intel Macs and create a universal binary for the PowerPC users. Or maybe since the Xbox 360 is based on the PowerPC architecture they don't need any help putting a port on a Mac, because they need to get their own prowess in that field.

So many possibilities. Be sure to overestimate Bungie rather than underestimate them.
