In Response To: Halo Science Page - Need Feedback! (Quantum)

: The idea for a Halo Science page, in the vein of the Story Page, popped up
: recently, but it would take a lot of work to look at, sort through, and
: check for scientific validity all of the theories and forum posts that
: would need to be posted. I want to gauge how much interest there is in
: having this page and how many people would be willing to volunteer to
: create, code, and maintain it.

: The idea is outlined more clearly here .

: Louis Wu won't do anything (wisely) until some dedication and enthusiasm is
: shown. So, what say you all?

i think it's a great idea because it would collect all the information that people so often look up and it would be an intresting thing to read, that is of course if it is like a forum or better yet like a place where people have to E-mail their ideas in which would make things a lot neater for example:

i came up with this crazy theroy in science todayok this may or may not include grammer.ok my theroy is this ... the universe is composed of sting basically, this string is like the force in that it connects every thing and goes through every thing all atoms and sub atomic particles are composed of it but it's also extra-dimensional which i beleive means that it is on another dimension controlling all aspects of this demension. the strings are super strong (duh), and like a fluid they are literally everywhere, kinda like the force. the strings control all of the laws of nature. so they control the forces of movement because when you cut a normal string from something they will normally "snap" in the direction that is still intact cut, and in this process it creates energy which helps cut other string's and provides motion. so if you could control the strings you on the other dimensions could basically get frictionless travel (like slipspace) which would be way freaking cool but that also means that the strings provide the heat in friction, so basically the more "cutting"
energy you have the faster you go (at least on this dimension) so teh travle doesn't provide the friction, the friction provides the travle.
