VR and dreams | |

In Response To: Re: Sure, but how many of you... rant + *flash* (N1NJ4) : My apologies if that was unclear. By dream in halo, I meant dreams of halo
I've dreamt of Halo at least once. Also... I once worked for a company that did built VR worlds. Some were to be used for controlling prisons (It was a prototype and I don't think that the idea was adopted). These worlds were built by hand inside the VR worlds. People would spend hours each day creating and positioning walls and doors to make the cells and corridors. This went on for months. In time my workmates started to have dreams about wandering down, never ending, corridors with walls that shifted, and no exits. Joe mentioned this in the pub one evening and all the other people doing the world building chimed in that they had also had these dreams. That's a classic dream, I suppose it signifies helplessness and frustration, no way out! We know about rsi but its spooky to think that building VR worlds can also cause dreams that could be thought of as being occupational 'injuries/hazards'. |
