And it's true. I just wonder how long people can keep pinning the effects on the effect before we go after the causes. The United States is the only country in the world to have so many problems that we're attributing to other factors...
It's clearly absurd to do these things, but that's what's happening. And it's not going to solve a single thing. As pointed out in another discussion "Make owning a gun criminal and only criminals will own guns." You have to make people quit doing these things- period. Taking away what they're after will only make them angry and want it more. Why not a campaign that says "eating crappy food is unhealthy." Wouldn't that just be amazing? It's a lot better than having McDonald's carry a salad loaded with meat and dressing that makes it just as calorie-rich as most of the other things they carry. |
