I criticise America's gun laws. IMHO, ONE shooting is too many (and hell, we had one up here too). But I'm not getting into that.

My MAIN point IS about the actual contact I've had with americans. Thank you for realising.

I admit, I haven't read the whole article (sorry Meg, I've been away in the highlands, and haven't caught up yet :) and I'm only here because CB pointed me at the thread. In an article, I wouldn't consider saying "Americans suck", but then I haven't read the article, and from what I HAVE read (here and there) I think Meg's comments are justified.
