This is interesting, because I've said before and still believe firmly that the most effective Banshee configuration is to fly in well-coordinated "wings" of two (with TWO wings of two, of course, you can own the server). The way that seems to work best is to assign one pilot as the flight leader and one as the wingman (a la current USAF fighter doctrine), with the leader going where he chooses and the wingman following with support. Many of the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of the Banshee can be shored up with two separate but mutually supporting air units, and taking out a good wing is VERY difficult. It's been my contention as well that more than two 'shees working together tend to get in each other's way and be generally cumbersome, but I may be wrong; I'd welcome input from anybody who's effectively trained and fought with three or four. The issue even with two, of course, becomes learning not to get in the way of the other guy's Banshee or bullets, and there are some techniques, maneuvers, and methodologies to help this, but mostly it just comes down to fluidity, practicing together, and that same ability to "read" how another pilot is going to move.
