In Response To: Re: Heads up! (Johnny Rotten) If halo is going to be "hybrid," then how will the viewpoint switch in game? Immersion in the game seems to be a big point here... and frankly I believe that either fps or tps offer the same depth of immersion... but a clumsy system of switching between the two viewpoints could ruin that as it would draw attention to the fact that you ARE seperate from the guy running around on the screen in front of you. The trick is to switch viewpoints without the player conciously realizing the switch. Any thoughts on how this could be done? TheMaz | |
