Have any of you people played the game Jedi Knight? It uses a mixture of 3rd person and 1st person gameplay. Lightsaber fighting is all done in 3rd person, as it is almost impossible to see what you are doing in 1st person, while the rest of the weapons use the 1st person perspective. From what I saw from one of the halo movies it seems they have a nifty aiming system set up so you can aim your weapons from a 3rd person viewpoint. IMO it looks much better in 3rd person than from a 1st person viewpont and it seems they have solved the problem most games have with aiming from 3rd person. Why do they want to get rid of it now and move to first person? It seems to me bungie is just trying to please the masses of quake players who know what a game should be like and won't let anyone tell them otherwise. | |
