: Out of curiosity, has anyone put together an extended Marathon roadmap that
: includes the more significant 3rd party scenarios? I know that there is an
: extensive Marathon timeline on this site, based on the information
: contained in the M trilogy terminals, but various 3rd parties have
: interpreted this in different ways and have often extended the story in
: different directions. What we have, more or less, is not a uniform
: timeline, but more of a Marathon tree with certain people taking the story
: in different directions, and others adding their own branches to the tree.
: Now that the volunteers effort is ending and people are talking about what
: to do next, it seems to me that it would be useful to have an overall
: roadmap to the larger Marathon universe, to help put things in
: perspective. It would also provide a way of measuring how the various
: scenarios stack up within the framework.
Well, I know of no one who has put together a timeline thing, but a while back Ben Potter made some database thing which included many different scenarios. I believe you can find it at the Archives (searching for "Ben Potter" should work.)
Anyone else know more about this?
