Maybe the job of the Wrkacntnrs is to destroy the universe before closure, and then make a new one. Maybe the Jjarro had their own universe which was supposed to expand into nothingness, then the W'rkcs came along, so the Jjarro dealt with them, and also stopped the universe from expanding, and of course we're in that universe. : Well, that brings up the whole notion of the definition of "good", : which is, at least on many levels, subjective. I mean, yeah, there are : things which are morally right and wrong, but in this case, the scale is : just way too big for those. The way I understand it, the : W'rka...W'rknc...W'hat'ever are beings of pure chaos, and where they are, : nothing in this universe can be as it was. I'm not sure if they even : notice us as we boil away in the seas of liquid time that freeze our dying : world to a cinder. If they do what they do (wreck the universe) for fun, : or even on purpose, then yeah, they're evil. But if they don't realize : it...one could make a case for the idea that they're neither good nor : evil, at least on our scale. Of course, if on their scale they are : plotting some dire deeds, then they may yet be evil (or if they're trying : to save other W'hat'evers' lives, they may yet be good): but there's no : way for us to know, because we simply can't relate to them; they're just : too alien, in every way. : I just love a good philosophical discussion. : Dan Aris
