One of the main reasons for my embarking on the project to update M1A1, which led to the quest for original file support, was the removal of the lift puzzle on Colony Ship for Sale. The multiple weapon pick-up bug reminds me a lot of that puzzle: having it back sure isn't much fun. But, as you say, that's Marathon. Perhaps the removal of that puzzle was part of REB's own attempt to make the Final Cut. Fix the flaws, make the game more fun. That's a noble goal, and the tools exist to make your own vision of the Final Cut, once we provide a way to play the theatrical release.
