Yeah, that's right. Glue triggers wake up everyone until the signal hits superglue, just like M2 triggers and zone borders. I don't know if there's a limit to the trigger's range.
Glue prevents "sounds" -- really, any monster-activation signals except Glue Trigger signals -- from entering, so monsters in or beyond behave as if they're deaf. Sounds can travel within and leave Glue, so a monster awakened on Glue can wake up others. There's no way to make monsters blind, unlike M2.
