Checking M1 poly types is my Pfhorte. ;)
They are all normal in that room. The only difference between the poly types in the area where the Jug hovers is the lighting. The Jug is flying over ploys with a higher lighting setting. However, that's just the way Greg set up the lighting in that area and I don't think it effects Jug behaviour.
I suspect you are right about the hover height setting.
