To be honest I didn't go for the PS2 because it had pirate games, although I must confess most of my games for the ps2 are pirate(here in mexico we don't have that much money to afford the expensive orignal videogames, which doesn't justify my buying pirate games, however, when you really want to play a game and can't afford the original, piracy is very tempting)... anyway I went for the Ps2 because it had the most appealing games for me and most games in general... then when I saw Halo I thought I had better bought an xbox, which was way expensive back then... I didn't buy a GC 'cos most of the titles out were either already ported to the PS2 or not too appealing for me(Resindent Evil saga being an exception, but I prefered Silent Hill).

As for my pirate titles, the only ones I bought are Silent Hill 2 and 3, Tekken 5, the Prince of Persia trilogy(which I'm hoping to buy the three original in the 3 in 1 set Ubi is about to release) and Saint Seiya 2 The Hades which wasn't released in America.
