I still remember being virgin in the Marathon world... for me it all started with Marathon 2 Durandal; I still remember when I started the game and listen to the BOB's "Lets go!" and lots of gunshots and all that green blood. I said to myself: "wow! this is way better than wolfenstain"

I still remember writing stories about people who had been fighting in lh'owon... back when I didn't understand what was really going on(I new very little English then) and thought the Mjolnir was named Garrison... how innocent.

When I first took a shotgun on Eat it Vid boi! When I tried to burn down a hunter with a TOZT. When I thought Durandal was dying and when I didn't know what to do in Kill your Television. The first time I beat the last Juggernaut and exploded right in my face and had to re-start long way back. When I saw the ending screen for the first time and felt touched by the image and the lines
"Robert Blake and his men escaped the destruction of Lh'owon...They were the only human survivors of the original Tau Ceti colony." and felt happy 'cos i beat the game (without even knowing what TauCeti or Leela were)

I also remember having my friends falling asleep because I talke to much about Marathon, and my best friend ending up hating Marathon. hahahaha

And myself deciding to do a scenario and never ever completing even a small part of it.

Such great memories.
