But you are appreciative of said games. And that's all it takes. You might have 100k nerds playing each one of these lame ass weak selling games (not all that weak selling once you compare them to those that spend more on marketing than it costs to create said games), but if just one of these so called gamers takes in those experiences, and decides they want to be a part of game design, then they can use those experiences to create their very own game in the near or distant future - A game that could lead to the next biggest and best hyped thing that everyone loves to hate. Every game has its place. Even the ones that sell less than 100k. They've been here since the beginning. Look at bungies POS games that are produced in #s less than 7k. Weak shit.
