Why? Please explain. Infinity isn't officially called "Marathon 3", but it's still the 3rd game in a (mostly) direct progression of Marathons. The only reason I can see to call a game Marathon 3 would be if it was a direct sequel to M2, ignoring all story elements in Infinity.

And yeah, Forrest speaks truth. If Microsoft made a game called Marathon 4 without Jason or Greg, it would be mere fan fiction deceptively marketed as a sequel, fooling nobody here. But it would still be cool and worth playing, just like any other epic fanfictional scenario.

Grim Fandango does indeed rule. I really should buy Psychonauts sometime before it's out of print; I'll be pissed if it doesn't do well enough for Double Fine to make another game.
