I just thought up a mediocre question and was wondering of what some of you might think.

Who controls Marathon canon? Is it Bungie, or the crew that worked at Bungie that actually created Marathon back in the day?

The following is purely hypothetical, so I don't want to hear any noise about how it ain't gonna happen because I know it is not going to happen.

Okay. Ahem.

What would you lend more credit to:

1. A Marathon 4 created by Bungie Studios *minus* Jason and Robt.

OR,

2. A Marathon TC created by Wideload, possibly *with* Jason and Robt and any other old-school Bungites that migrated to MS.

Again, please don't remind me of how impossible this is, rather discuss to which you would put more faith in as "the true sequel". Feel free to throw in your own curveballs as to why/why not one or the other and any other interesting variables you can conjure.

Otherwise keep on rocking.
