Resident Evil is the only game-to-movie adaptation i can think of that has even come close to working. And even there, it basically wins because it wasn't laughably bad, it was entertaining but forgettable. High praise, no?
I disagree about Mortal Kombat. I didn't like that movie at all.
Do you guys remember the Double Dragon movie? Man, that was awesomely horrible. Same with House of the Dead.
I bet there are some asian martial arts movies that are based on asian games that are decent movies. But they probably ahve never been seen in this country.
And i really don't think a Halo movie would work well. Unless they did something of the back story. That could actually work.
