Wow... I didn't think the secret levels were accessible from the main scenario at all, I always got to them with cmd-option. I was going to wait to take a closer look at them until the end for that reason. Although, since it seems that the secret is a dead end, we should save them for the end anyway since there would be no going back.

I don't think it's an omission or a mistake, I think it's just a dead-end mutually exclusive secret like the credit terminal in Marathon 2 (yes, I know it's technically possible to visit both of them...). This is considered bad form, though it wouldn't be out of line with some of the other dumb stuff in RED. Score one more for RED 1.1 :P
