I'd like to add Thomas Reed's Marathon: Dissent to that list. I'm surprised that no one's brought it up here, although I might have missed a reference to it earlier. Many of the maps are, IMHO, stunning; when I first worked my way through it I thought it was pretty much on par with the maps in TI. The story's fabulous, too. If the Volunteers group is willing to take it on, I'd nominate it as the next scenario to work through (though I know that they're currently considering only Marathon-related scenarios). Courier 11 is also an interesting scenario, though somewhat unpolished. There's also The Classified 19. You also might want to check out Jesse Simko's partially aborted Muerte Machine. | |
