I won't be quiate as crass as Elliott, but while everyone's entitled to their opinion, your taste in scenarios seems to run almost the opposite of mine. I'm not sure what it is you're looking for in gameplay that you don't find in Rubicon but do in TI. I know you're not alone, but some of the maps in Rubicon are IMHO among the best ever designed, regardless of whether or not you care about the story or you like the muted texture set. Pfh'Joueur is also one of my favorites, even if it's a bit easier than I would prefer. You don't like the textures, but the visuals are among some of the best in any scenario. Indeed, TI has a number of known flaws in its textures sets with edges that don't match perfectly and beautiful murals that the player never sees. Pfh'Joueur is not the only scenario to have a non-combat first level - Evil does, too, and to an extent, so does EMR. The purpose for that level is to give the player a chance to explore the ship they'll be visiting several times, but in a much more hostile environment. This is a chance to get acclimated to a new universe and a new plot. We're going to be doing a volunteer series on Pfh'Joueur later this year (I hope), and you're welcome to play along.
