: I'm surprised at how many people think so lowly of the invaluable glance
: keys! I must wonder, are these the same people who mistakenly believe that
: the puzzle on Colony Ship For Sale, Cheap is somehow difficult?
: I always use the glance key to quickly hit the switch to stop the platforms
: when they are in the correct position (or face the switch and use glance
: to watch the platforms, letting go when I want them to stop), but if
: someone had to manually switch between looking out the window and facing
: the switch, I can see where it might be difficult and lead to people
: having to backtrack.
I've never actually played colony ship for sale, but I don't see how using glance would be any different than turning your body to switch between looking at one thing and another. The only difference is glance would be slower.
The only advantage glance could buy you is being able to shoot someone from the side without changing your momentum. I would argue that this is only an advantage because other people generally wouldn't expect it. If it became the norm, it wouldn't be an advantage at all.
