It is difficult the first time playing that map, but if you have Marathon 1 Classic and Level 1 shields (Level 2 health), you can grenade climb to the exit and ignore the lifts. Just be careful not to take too many hits until after the shield recharge in the next map. Otherwise it isn't too bad once you have enough practice at either method.
