| In Response To: Re: Tycho = Doubt explained? (General-RADIX) The first time I played through Marathon and got into the pfhor ship maps I got the impression that artificial intelligence was a uniquely human invention and they didn't have anything like computers in the way we know, as they had no terminals on their ship (although the s'pht are able to communicate with Durandal, so they at least understood it). In M2 there are terminals on the ships and in the s'pht ruins, so either what I assumed was wrong or Bungie actually intended that at first and it's one of their retcons. Maybe my theory is still true, though, as they never took Thoth back in the Lh'owon invasion (maybe they just didn't understand what Thoth was) and their terminals seem to be used primarily for communications between each other (as far as I remember that map on the refueling station)... it's only battle group seven that got Tycho as an A.I. Is the "pfhor didn't use A.I. before capturing Tycho to dissect him" theory credible?
