: universe), and Hokuto's theories on him in the Infinity dream levels are
: brilliant. Tycho and Durandal are both fascinating characters with
: multiple layers of depth.
I've already posted too many short posts in this thread me-tooing things, but I just wanted to say that this is the best discussion I've seen on this board in a long time. There are some great insights here, especially in scratskinner's and Perseus's posts. I'm actually starting to feel a bit sorry for Tycho now, given the frankly disturbing notion that his insanity is caused not merely by Rampancy but by the incompatibility of the personality and memories that are being forced into his virtual brain as it were, as well as the existential horror of having the very core of your being tampered with. Shiver.
