In nearly 13 years here, I've never even once had a garbage plate. I think my doctor would have a heart attack if I did. For the non-Rochesterians here, a Garbage Plate is a Rochester institution made famous by Nick Tahou's. If you follow the link, you'll undertand why I don't eat them. My father had his first hear attack when he was several years younger than I am now. I don't know if he ever ate a garbage plate (by pure coincidence, we lived here at the time), but I have no intention of following in his footsteps.

We left Rochester when I was too young to remember anything more than snow higher than my head, but my wife and I have loved it here and will really hate to leave it. There's a lot to do here, it's close to a number of prime vacation spots and we have lots of friends. It's also the home of Ambrosia Software, but they're not quite in the same league as Bungie

Oh well, we're way off topic now.
