I would totally donate some money to you if I had any. Music is a big passion of mine and I have always spent a lot of time with it.
Even though I can't say that I have experience with age, I do know the feeling of work vs. fun. I still struggle with it today, since I am spending more time practicing piano, singing, writing songs etc. that I feel that I leave my schoolwork behind. I went through the same thing in high school and there is no easy way to solve that situation. I guess my take on it was that work was less important than my own interests, but since it was unimportant, I had the obligation to do that work well because that's what I felt was the honorable thing to do.
In terms of life experience, we are still young. It's kinda cliché thing to say, but it's true, and there's a whole life ahead of us.
Uh... I don't know how to wrap this up...
My writing is just plain terrible... Hmm...
