: My parents have decided that the reason my grades wern't up to snuff this
: term in school was because of video type games, including Marathon and all
: of it's friends. This means that I wont be able to play for ar least three
: weeks. This means no Volunteers posts, as well as not being able to
: contribute to them very well if at all. I've got to make at least all
: "C"s by the time interium grades come out, which is in three or
: four weeks. How irriataing real life can be. I feel really bad about this
: guys. I hope that someone will take over Eternal Volunteers.
: I will return.

If I would give you any advice on life in general, always put marthon behind whatever comes up. It's just a game, so don't let it get all of your focus. I'm speaking of own experiences. When I was in your age I lost the opportunity of personal growth when I rather played marathon then meeting new friends and being social. It wasn't for years later I noticed how isolated I was and decided I should do something about it. It took some time to get back on track, and it was literally a pain in the ass experience. However when I look back on it, I realise something went wrong much earlier and marathon was just my way of ignoring my problems. So even though your parents takes away marathon, they probably just do it because they love you.
