: My parents have decided that the reason my grades wern't up to snuff this
: term in school was because of video type games, including Marathon and all
: of it's friends. This means that I wont be able to play for ar least three
: weeks. This means no Volunteers posts, as well as not being able to
: contribute to them very well if at all. I've got to make at least all
: "C"s by the time interium grades come out, which is in three or
: four weeks. How irriataing real life can be. I feel really bad about this
: guys. I hope that someone will take over Eternal Volunteers.

Last year I had some awful grades too - I got the only D I've ever gotten in my life (for really stupid reasons - my best friend sat next to me in Science for that quarter and we never got an labs done), quite a few Cs in English and Math, and even a C in World Studies. Yet somehow this year I'm doing better than I ever have before - I just got straight As last quarter and my semester grades were all As with one B in English. Essentially, I just started doing my homework (even when it doesn't count for a grade - it really does help you learn and become familiar with stuff, especially math) and putting in effort. Well, I hope you can get back on top of things.
